Jen Jones is a teacher, literacy consultant-trainer-coach, intervention specialist, curriculum writer, reading specialist and staff developer, with over 28 years of experience in education. She has taught every grade K to 8 in California, Florida and currently living in Raleigh, North Carolina, with her husband of 32 years.
With degrees in Education and Psychology from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo & and an advanced degree in Reading Education from East Carolina University, she works full-time as the President of her company, Hello Literacy, and travels the United States, Canada and Australia teaching teachers best practices for urgent, responsive literacy instruction. She created this print & ship series of 60 phonics books to fill a need where truly decodable text was lacking in Science of Reading classrooms.

Our Purpose
The Hello Decodables and Hello Literacy solutions provide a range of literacy resources and tools for educators and parents. These websites feature a variety of products designed to help children develop strong reading and writing skills, including complete teacher/tutor lesson plans, printable worksheets, educational games, and reading activities. The resources available are designed to be used in both the classroom and at home and are suitable for children of all ages and range of reading skills. Hello Literacy also offers teacher training and support, as well as a blog that features articles and tips on how to improve children's literacy skills. Overall, we aim to provide a comprehensive and accessible source of literacy resources and support for educators, parents, and children.
